Position Purpose:
Machine fixtures, work holding, and gages for all production machining and secondary services including welding. Work with and contribute as required to designs from Machining Process Engineers and Quality Engineers.
Primary Activities:
- CNC, conversational and manual machining and all necessary programming skills in both Milling and Turning
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Design skills and creative problem solving helpful for repairs and improvements
- Positive demeanor and teamwork
Works Closely With:
- Machining Process Engineers
- Quality Engineers
- Manufacturing Engineers
Position Requires:
- Advanced experience and acumen in CNC machining, programming, tooling, fixturing, and manufacturing development is imperative.
- Knowledge of GD&T and application to machined parts.
- Knowledge and experience with material properties and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office and knowledge of Solidworks, and Gibbs Cam preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
