2nd shift – 4 day work week! (Mon-Thurs, 2pm-midnight)
No experience necessary! We train and certify forklift operators on site!
Position Purpose: Make sure that raw material, partially finished material, and finished parts are placed in the proper locations for inside operations, outside operations, and final inspections. Make sure that material moves in an efficient manner on the floor in an effort to keep machines continually running and machine operators at their machines. Make sure that the shop floor and warehouse areas are always kept clean and organized.
Primary Functions: Move materials from the raw material warehouse and from the saw cut area to specific machining areas on the shop floor in a timely and organized manner. Empty chip hoppers and chip barrels in order to assure that machines are able to run without interruption. Move other items as directed by Supervisors and Team Leaders. Pre-stage raw materials for next day’s Jobs in designated areas. Assist with other various tasks as directed by Supervisors and Team Leaders.
