Material Handler/Forklift Operator – 3rd Shift

$1,000 Hiring Bonus at 1 year

Salary:  Hourly – $20.00/hour (which includes the $3.00/hour shift premium)

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

Night shift:  Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:00am

• Move raw material to the shop floor for machining.
• Move in-process parts from machine to machine as required by specific move ticket information.
• Move machined parts to outside services, final inspection, or other designated areas, as required by specific move ticket information.
• Empty machine chip hoppers and chip barrels into designated hoppers in chip room to allow for coolant drainage. Once coolant has drained, move chips to designated bins outside of facility. All chips in chip room hoppers at end of shift must be moved outside before next shift begins, if hoppers are full and if proper drainage has occurred.
• Move machining fixtures to and from machining areas to designated rack locations as directed by Team Leaders.
• Load or unload trucks on an as-needed basis and as directed by Supervisor.
• Empty trash and cardboard containers in shop area on an as-needed basis.
• Material handlers must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Material handlers must be capable of bending, twisting, pulling, and going from a seated to a standing position on a frequent basis.
